A couple of month's ago I bought Amy a "Summer Project", a rather large latch-hook kit featuring two Orcas. Amy had been eye-balling it and had mentioned wanting it after she finished making another latch-hook project for a friend of hers. I'm pretty impressed at how fast she got through it, and it looks really great. We have it hanging over Amy's desk in the computer room. I can't wait to see some real Orcas on our trip to Sea World in Orlando next month! The next project I think she's going to tackle is a nifty looking round wolf-head latch-hook.
I'd like to send out congratulations to my friends Ryan and Kristy on the birth of their twin daughters Tabatha and Olivia. I can't wait to meet both of them!
Reports are the twins and mother are doing well, and that the father is looking for a long island iced tea to quench his thirst.

This was last night, in the Woodman's parking lot. I pulled out of my parking space and turned onto the main aisle and "boom" the front-left ball joint gave way, breaking the control arm, tie-rod ends, and CV joint in the process. Thankfully I wasn't out on the open road when this happened, and I had just driven over 70 miles between Hartland and Madison not a half hour before.Martin just got his S70 fixed, and now mine goes down, while Terry's is still busted. I'm beginning to suspect that there can be only one running S70 between Martin, Terry and I (we all have the same model, same year, just different colors).
After great consideration I've decided to reset my blog. Having neglected things for many months, my site had fallen into disrepair and I've wiped the slate clean in order to start over. Never fear, those of you who enjoy my old content, I still have it, and from time to time I'll republish entries I think are useful, keeping the meaningless and trite things in my own personal archives. I hope to be welcomed back into your semi-daily reading, as I have much to say.
