New Things
It's been a while since I've posted, and yes I still need to blog about both our Spring trip to Tennessee and our last Summer trip to Florida (properly blog about it at any rate). Until I stop being lazy, here's a few new things in our lives.
First off, our new dog, Milo:
Milo is a 2 year old(ish) rescue from Tennessee. He's super laid back and Chester loves him. He looks like a Duck Tolling Retriever, but he's most likely a mutt. Kinda like a mini-Golden Retriever in looks, but he has a couple of spare dew-claws on each rear foot like a Great Pyrenees, so who knows.
Second, my new car: It's a 2009 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition, 2.0L Turbo 6-speed Manual. Chalk full of good German engineering.
Third, and lastly, we hit The "1337" Mile last night on our way home from Johnson Creek. Unfortunately it took 15 minutes to get through that mile because there was a semi on fire on the beltline. By the time we passed it, it was put out, but there was a huge gaping hole in the side of it. Here's a picture of The "1337" Mile...note I took it going 0 MPH, on a 55 MPH freeway.
